🦸 What does a Coach do?

⭐️ Each Coach is responsible for supporting a 1 Women Fellow for the duration of the Women Fellowship. Logistically, there are a few key responsibilities of a Coach:

  1. 👯‍♀️ 4 x (virtual) Coaching sessions
  2. 🏃‍♀️ 1x Speed Coaching session (if available)
  3. ✨ Help us select the Women Fellows!
  4. 🤝 Offer ad hoc virtual support on Slack

⚙️ How does it work?

  1. 🗓️ COACH ACTION: Coaches pick a recurring session day/time as part of their onboarding form.
    1. This information becomes a ‘sign up sheet’ for the Fellows.
  2. 🏃‍♀️ EVENT: Speed Coaching/Mixer takes place in Week 1 for Fellows and Coaches to meet each other, before Fellows select their coach
  3. ✍️ FELLOW ACTION: Women Fellows will self-select coaches as part of their own onboarding process.
    1. Note: Fellows will sign up for a Coach based on the time slot that suits them best, so once you sign-up as a Coach and lock in your recurring session time, you are expected to stick with it for the entire program!
  4. 💪 COACH ACTION: Once matches are finalised, Coaches will create a group chat & send out calendar invites for the 4 x sessions.
  5. 🚀 COACH ACTION: During the program, Coaches will leverage the ‘Coaching Roadmap’ as a key resource that walks through each week of the program.
    1. This resource includes key actions, sample comms to send to Fellows, and most importantly - an outline of how to run each of the 4 x Coaching Sessions.

✨ Purpose

Coaching was created as a solution to this! Your role as a coach is to help guide the Fellow through the program and to achieve their goal, to help them land their dream job.
