Hey! 👋 Welcome to the home of the Startmate Student Fellowship. This page will give you an idea about what actually happens in the Startmate Student Fellowship and details about the application process. Read on👇
The Student Fellowship is a 2-week bootcamp held during the Winter & Summer university holiday periods. We are creating a community and home for the most ambitious Australian and Kiwi students wanting to get involved in the world of startups!
Want to explore alternative career paths to the traditional finance/law/consulting routes and find something that feels more meaningful?? The Student Fellowship will help you find that and hopefully help you land that sweet, sweet internship.
In this two-week bootcamp, you will gain the tools, community, connections and confidence to dive into the startup ecosystem - whether you’re in your first year, doing your PhD, or about to graduate. Through a series of fireside chats, workshops, and masterclasses, you’ll be able to get an understanding of what it’s like to work in startups and be given actionable advice on how to get started (whether that’s landing your dream internship, or founding a startup). Alongside this, you’ll have a chance to take part in heaps of awesome activities including our Founder Challenge - where you’ll be able to build a startup and pitch to investors - and some in-person networking events at ANZ’s most prominent startups.
With 150-300 students in each cohort, you might even make some friends for life đź’•
🙌 The next Student Fellowship Bootcamp will be held from 2 Dec - 13 Dec with plenty more opportunities to connect with the Startmate community afterwards!
🚨 The final application deadline is 10 November*, 11:59PM.***
